Kim Samuels is a music educator who leads gospel choirs, teaches voice and runs gospel workshops.
Kim has self-published four books in the Rhythm Road series for early learners which lay a foundation in the principles of music theory in a simple and accessible way. Rhythm Road,Rhythm Road Rap, Silent Beats and Visitor from Triple Time Street are fun music books for ages 3 to 8.
As well as reading books, they are also theory and activity books with colourful characters from the “Note Family”.
Kim Samuels’ own music journey started at the age of 8 when she was introduced to the piano. She immediately fell in love with it and by her early teens she was teaching piano.
Kim’s desire is to inspire the next generation of music lovers at an early age and give them a foundational understanding of music theory. The Rhythm Road series is intended to encourage an interest in learning to play musical instruments and start young musicians on a pathway towards careers in music.
Kim and Vernon are also members of The Kingdom Choir who sang at the royal wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle in 2018. The Kingdom Choir is led by Kim’s sister, Karen Gibson MBE.
